DUBROVNIK CITY TOUR

In Dubrovnik the stone talks; from its most hidden corners to its most sumptuous palaces that have all been silent witnesses of the time when this City was the seat of the glorious Republic of Ragusa. The tour starts at the Pile gate, continues to the main street of the Old Town - Stradun, till the statue of Orlando, the keeper of the flag of Liberty. On the way we visit Dubrovnik’s most important sights such as the Cathedral, St Blaise and St Francis church, and reveal some of the most fascinating stories hidden behind its stone walls.

KORCULA

Full day excursion by bus and by boat!.

The first sight of the day will be the historical town of STON with one of the longest city walls in Europe (5,5 km). Reaching the Peljesac peninsula, we will take a boat in the port of Orebic and have a panoramic boat ride to one of the most beautiful Adriatic islands, Korcula. Dense pine forests and crystal blue sea make the scenery of the surroundings of the Old Town of KORCULA, which we visit with a local guide. Its narrow streets positioned in a form of a fishbone and the Venetian looking facades carved in stone remember us that Korcula was the birthplace of the world famous traveller, Marco Polo. On our way back we’ll make a stop in a local winery to taste some local wines.

MOSTAR

In the neighbouring country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the city of Mostar is situated in the surroundings of the Old Bridge that overpasses the turquoise waters of the Neretva river, along the Turkish style quarters with mosques and typical bazaars. Its rich and complex multicultural heritage based on its Christian roots and traces of the long lasting Turkish domination have marked not only the history of this town but also its present day situation. The excursion includes the visit to the Turkish house, the Mosque, the Old Bridge and the Spanish square. We also visit Neum and Počitelj, a citadel that preserves all the elements of Turkish medieval architecture.

MONTENEGRO

A small recently independent country on the Adriatic that reveals an extraordinary beautiful coastline filled with contrasts. Only about 45 km south from Dubrovnik, we will enjoy the magnificent views of the Fiord of Kotor with its abrupt mountains, little islands and picturesque medieval towns, concentrating the time of the visit in the monumental town of KOTOR (UNESCO’s World Heritage City). In the second half of the journey we’ll be visiting the Budvan Riviera with long sandy beaches and make a panoramic stop for the views of the island-city of St Stefan. On our way back we’ll take a ferry across the Bay of Kotor. In Budva we recommend you to taste local specialities in restaurant Porto.

ELAFITI

The archipelago of small islands in the vicinity of Dubrovnik that attracts visitors for its lush Mediterranean vegetation, its picturesque fishermen’s villages, beautiful sandy beaches and excellent gastronomy based on fresh seafood specialties. The boat will take us to the most important islands of this archipelago, the islands of LOPUD and KOLOČEP with its beautiful sandy beach to have a swim; we will stop at ŠIPAN to see its castle and in the town of Lopud famous for the summer palaces and gardens of the Ragusian aristocracy along its waterfront.

The island is known for its Big and Little Lake, lying in a national park, for its Benedictine monastery from the 12th century, Odysseus and Penelope, the White Sea bear, honey, goat cheese, lobster, wine and many other beauties. If in nature there is still a paradise, it is undoubtedly the island of Mljet. We will reach the island of Mljet with catamaran, visit the lakes, the Church of St.Maria on the small island and the national park Mljet.
